To deploy the FortiWeb Manager-VM on Azure, you are required to install the following software first:
- PowerShell 5.0 or higher versions
We will use PowerShell script the upload the FortiWeb Manager-VM image to Azure. If you're unfamiliar with PowerShell, an introduction to PowerShell may be helpful.You can also watch this video: PowerShell Basics: (Part 1) Getting Started with PowerShell.
- Azure PowerShell 6.0 or higher versions
Azure PowerShell provides a set of cmdlets that use the Azure Resource Manager model for managing your Azure resources. You can use it in your browser with Azure Cloud Shell, or you can install it on your local machine and use it in any PowerShell session.
In this guide, we install it on the local machine.
