- Especially the Hotas X also should be configurable mostly without additional drivers. I personally use a Saitek X52 Pro which has far more knobs, buttons, switches and other moveable thingies than any Mac flight sim can handle. In case I really need it, I then use ControllerMate to make things work.
- This is October 9th 2015. I was able to reflash the firmware on the Win XP system. And thereafter install HOTAS on the Windows 10 sys successfully. TM techs are inconsistent. FIrst they told me only able to flash firmware into the HOTAS Cougar is on a Win XP sys. It worked with 2004 firmware.on the Win XP sys.
See I have a Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar system I just bought.Now I've had it two weeks and am Still having problems with the throttle control. It still not not responding the way it should.
Joystick works Good. all the switches and knobs on the thottle work.. but the throttle it self... It dont do nothing.

What I have done in followed the Manual that’s came with the HOTAS and then did some research on the systems.this is what I did.

1. I downloaded the new drivers from your site.
2. I uninstalled the old drivers and restarted the PC
3. I installed the new drivers, Plugged in the cougar as it asked with out the throttle attached

4. I flashed the Cougar with out the Throttle attached by going to the Hotas Cougar Update icon
5. And finally I moved all Accesses of the throttle to the Max including the Ant Elev knob and Main range knob.
I have done this more then Three times.
And still nothing. the control View panel is as follows
the Z access being the Throttle is almost in the center and isn't budging.
And the S1 and XR access's are turned to their Max Min positions.
the throttle Should be next to them as its Pushed all the way forward to max throttle. nothing

The throttle was pulled to idle and S1, XR to max But still no change.I have unplugged the Hotas cougar more then once and done this more then 100 times and still no change. I have how ever seen the throttle when pushed to the Maximum Minimum possession when freshly plugged in the the joystick after the system as be reconnected but it slowly
Creeps down to the center line and stays there.
